Visible Mending + Re-enforcement Design Development

Waste Interview Tracing Method

Fashion Praxis// Investigating Creative Process// Transforming Textile Waste

This 2-day intensive workshop that looks at Visible Mending as form of Fashion Praxis. It is way to research, create, inspire, design and problem solve. We will be investigating creative process and transforming textile waste through applications informed by acts of mending and repair -- resulting in outcomes that are guaranteed to inspire new design ideas and applications. This thought provoking workshop is designed to create opportunities to address failure in the creative design process, explore materials and transform design decisions. Visible Mending is more that just a visual act of mending and repair is can applied to create sustainable practices in fashion and textile design research.
